THE DOWNTON ABBEY PARTY
Inspired by the programme Downton Abbey and a little girl called Abbie
who loves dressing up. Treat your guests to high tea, lessons in being a lady and traditional
games!
We simply adapted traditional party
games with a twist to fit the theme for example instead of pass the parcel we had pass the tiara and when the music finished the girls had to give a curtsey, talk in a posh voice etc and finishing off with a little prize for the "winner"! We played musical curtseys and the girls loved the deportment lessons how to curtsey, walking with a book on your head and dressing up in the selection of dresses and jewels and high heels of course!We finished all this off with a traditional tea served on real china with juice poured from a teapot into dainty teacups (all bought really cheaply from a charity shop)

All you need to host this party is
a few dressing up clothes and accessories and little girls who love to dress up and make believe!
