This was such an exciting party to organise, apart from anything it was for my 10 year old son. We wanted to do something different so we put the tent up in the garden so now mess in doors and I set up several challenges for the boys. 1. apple bobbing (only our apples had gummy worms in them!) 2. The blindfold taste test; they had to eat from a plate of "bugs" made from various unusual edibles such as white chocolate coated wotsits, dates (they caused the most disgust but that might be because we said it was Kangaroo poo! 3. The touchy feely game went down a storm each boy had to put his had into a covered bowl and try to guess what he was feeling and find the hidden star! - we used tinned sardines, tomatoes, beans and spagetti plus raw egg (believe me that feels so gross when you are blindfolded) and olives really do feel like eyes! 4. The trap went down the best we created a dark tunnel full of cold spaghetti, sausages, cobwebs and much more the boys had to crawl through the tunnel to find the stars!
